Established cardiothoracic surgery program at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia is seeking a cardiothoracic surgery medical director.

Qualified Candidates:
- 5+ years of experience required
- Robotic lung experience is a plus, but not required
- TAVR experience is a plus, but not required
- Skillset in ECMO and Advanced Heart Failure (LVAD) to grow program is desired
- Must be Board Certified within 5 years of completing training
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Virginia

- Joining team of 7 cardiologists, 1 cardiothoracic surgeon and 5 advanced practice providers (2 dedicated CTS APPs)

- 1 dedicated EP lab and 3 cath labs
