The Transplant Institute and the Department of Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine, based in New Orleans, seeks a transplant hepatologist.

Qualified Candidates:
- Join a highly interactive, multidisciplinary environment with expanding liver transplantation program
- Expertise is gastroenterology, hepatology or liver transplantation
- Clinical responsibilities may include clinical care in hepatology and liver transplantation
- May be required to provide services at Tulane Medical Center, University Medical Center of New Orleans and Lakeview Regional Medical Center
- Become an integral teaching member of the gastroenterology fellowship program
- Successful candidates will be expected to serve as an attending on hepatology and liver transplant services
- Must possess excellent teaching and clinical skills; responsibilities may include instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include working in the field of hepatology and liver transplantation
- Must be board certified or eligible in hepatology
- Eligible for an unrestricted Louisiana medical license
- Position does not qualify for visa sponsorship
