TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a general surgeon physician (MD or DO) to join our established acute care surgery program at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. This is a full-time opening, working 10, 24-hour shifts per month. Condensed shifts allow for a great work/life balance! The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded individual who demonstrates clinical excellence and possesses superior communication skills along with high patient satisfaction scores. Other requirements include an awareness of patient affordability issues and an attitude that places the patient above all other considerations. You must provide quality care and be comfortable with a broad range of general surgical procedures. Credentials include board certification in general surgery, an active or in-process Texas license to practice, and a track record in the full scope of general surgery.
