Swedish Medical Group is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join its growing orthopedic program in Issaquah, Washington. We welcome surgeons with expertise in General Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Total Joint Replacement, or a combination of these practice areas. This position offers the opportunity to join a highly collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care within one of the Pacific Northwest's leading healthcare organizations.
The successful candidate will build a busy clinical and surgical practice supported by an established referral network, advanced imaging, rehabilitation services, and a strong multidisciplinary team. This role provides an opportunity to practice in a rapidly growing Eastside community while enjoying access to the resources and reputation of Providence Swedish.
Position Details:
- Full-time orthopedic surgery practice
- Practice focus may include General Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Total Joint Reconstruction, or a combination thereof
- Established referral base with strong primary care and specialty support
- Dedicated operating room access and advanced surgical facilities
- Collaborative team environment with experienced APP support

- Mix of clinic, surgical, and call responsibilities
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation is between $648,725 and $828,358 per year

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Eligible for Washington State medical licensure
- Fellowship training welcomed but not required depending on specialty focus
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care

Swedish Medical Centers Issaquah Highlands campus is a full-service community hospital 17 miles east of downtown Seattle. The 80-bed facility provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient specialty care, including oncology, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, emergency, intensive care and a host of specialized surgical services.
