Looking for another BC/BE General Surgeon for Beckley, West Virginia. The candidate can be supported with an income guarantee or hospital-employed. In either type of practice, there will be a competitive financial package which also includes sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. General Surgery call will be 1:7 and there is opportunity for trauma call, if interested. The hospital is one of the busiest Level III trauma centers in the country with over 50,000 ED visits. The schedule is standard M-F, with flexible block scheduling for surgery with 7 ORs in the hospital and 2 main ORs and 4 special procedure rooms in the MOB across from the hospital, where offices are located. General surgeons typically perform 400-600 cases/year. This practice is expected to develop quickly with the population in the service area over 250,000.
