About the Role:

The successful candidate will join three existing malignant hematologists to help establish and lead an acute leukemia and high-grade lymphoma service at a large, private, tertiary-care hospital.  Ideally, the candidate will be an experienced leader in their field although exceptional new fellowship graduates will be considered. The position will focus initially on growing the clinical aspects of the program with a long-term goal of incorporating clinical research and cellular therapies. While the initial focus will be clinical, immediate opportunities to engage in research will be available. In anticipation of the new service a search is also underway for a clinical pharmacist with leukemia and bone marrow transplant experience who will work alongside the physician leader. Subspecialty support including hematopathology, infectious disease, nephrology, and critical care medicine have already been engaged and enthusiastically support the development of the new program. The ideal candidate will be board certified/board eligible, have excellent clinical training.
