Western Connecticut Medical Group has as excellent opportunity for a full-time employed Hematologist/Oncologist at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. Danbury is located about 60 miles northeast of New York City in scenic Fairfield County and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York state. Our long established and busy practice includes six physicians and three Advanced Practitioners. Our office is based in Praxair Cancer Center within the Danbury Hospital Campus. We offer multidisciplinary cancer care, collaborating with Surgical and Medical Subspecialties, Radiation Oncology, and Palliative Care. Additionally, we offer Diagnostic Imaging, Cancer Genetics, Radiation Therapy, Cancer Research and Trials and Psychological and Social Support Services. There is some teaching of medicine residents and medical students.
Our employed practice sees a broad spectrum of Hematology/Oncology patients in the office and hospital. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in both Hematology and Oncology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as relocation.
