The Division of Cancer Medicine at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a fellowship trained hematology oncology specialist to join our distinguished cancer medicine faculty and provide a daily inpatient and consultative services for our downtown campus, Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. We are recruiting faculty with a preference for those who have experience with and an interest in developing a dedicated inpatient unit. The position will be eligible for an academic appointment with MD Anderson Cancer Center. The position will be responsible for inpatient attending duties on Baptist MD Anderson patients with a 7 on 7 off schedule with advanced practice practitioner support.  The position will provide hematology oncology consultative service to the hospital and share a rotation of call along with another medical oncology hospitalist physician.

Successful candidates will be board-certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology, including a distinguished record of clinical and academic accomplishment and possess the skills and experience necessary to establish and maintain transitions of care, communication, support growing complex inpatient service and prepare for cellular therapy service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary oncology care including participation in quality management and research programs sufficient to earn an academic appointment at MD Anderson in Houston.
