Fauquier Health Physician Services is growing its hematology/oncology service line with the addition of a full-time, employed Hematologist/Oncologist to join a hospital-owned, multi-specialty group. Fauquier Health Cancer Services were recently granted Community Cancer Center status by the ACOS Commission on Cancer. The clinic is currently located near the infusion center in allowing for a seamless treatment process for the patient and maximizing the physician's clinical time. This service line is targeted for growth and development, and with the recent addition of a full-time cancer navigator to the clinic staff and a six person internal medicine practice to the hospital-employed group, there is an anticipated need for an additional physician. Fauquier Health Physician Services includes physicians in both medical and surgical specialties, including neurology, rheumatology, infectious disease, OBGYN, urology, and general surgery as well as internal medicine and family practice. Fauquier Hospital has a strong hospitalist program, up-to-date imaging and a reliable IR group.
