Research Family Medicine Residency is seeking an associate program director for its 36-resident, unopposed, community-based residency program in Kansas City.
Qualified Candidates:
- 4+ years of clinical experience and 2+ years of teaching experience preferred
- Ideal applicant will have the ability to practice the full scope of family medicine
- Candidate should have strong interest in resident education, medical staff engagement (through committee participation), and taking a leadership role within the family medicine physician team and residency
- Board certification in family medicine is required
- Eligible for licensure in Missouri
- Residency has optional training tracks in obstetrics, integrative medicine and OMT
- Faculty teach residents, medical students and Pharm-D students in a variety of innovative styles and settings that value an evidence-based and scholarly approach to medical education
- Program has graduated over 400 physicians in its rich 43-year history and is known for the strength of its inpatient training
- Faculty and residents manage care in all clinical areas, including the 36-bed Med Surg ICU
- The residency’s family medicine center, Goppert-Trinity Family Care, has achieved NCQA Level III PCMH designation and sees 27,000 patient visits annually with a diverse patient population
