An Alabama-based medical facility needs locum tenens hospitalist coverage. The provider will work 12-hour shifts 7 am - 7 pm or vice-versa. The locum tenens physician will see approximately 16 - 17 patients per day and 7 patients during night shifts. The provider will be required to cover and respond to his/her own patients and some rapid response codes, but is not require to do procedures. This facility uses the Medhost EMR system to record patient interactions. Candidates must be board certified. We will provide assistance with all hospital privileging paperwork. This facility is willing to license a well-qualified candidate. An ACLS certification and CSP are required in order to qualify for this position. Interested?
