Doctors Medical Center in Modesto California is a 465-bed, Level II, multispecialty acute care hospital and fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.  We are seeking full-time Hospitalists and Nocturnists for block shifts. Other available shifts (strictly optional). Must be comfortable with ICU coverage (42-bed ICU), although procedures not required. Academic and Faculty opportunities also available.

-8 physicians on staff during day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

-Shifts scheduled in 5-7 day blocks

-Average 2-3 discharges per day shift

-Average 2-3 ICU patients at any given time; 4 Pulmonary Intensivists employed by group, co-management system
-Must be comfortable with Vent Management; Intubation not required
-Average 1-2 admits per day shift

-16-18 patients/day average

-2 physicians on staff during night shift

-Average of 12-16 total admits per night
-No cap on number of shifts; 12/month minimum to qualify for benefits package
