Seeking Pediatric Hospitalists to also serve as Faculty for a University of California Medical School. Positions will be based in the Greater Palm Springs Region with block shifts at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA and JFK Memorial Medical Center in Indio, CA. Financial package includes a guaranteed salary plus benefits and a pension plan. Must have hospitalist experience and a passion for teaching.  

Palm Springs located in Southern California's Coachella Valley. The Valley has a year round population of approximately 500,000 people and has been one of the fastest growing areas in California for the past decade. Once known as a popular retirement and get-away retirement destination, young families continue to migrate into the Valley in higher numbers every year. A population growth rate is expected to be more than 15% over the next 5 years. 

The Coachella Valley is known for a variety of annual festivals and a host of highly-acclaimed events that bring culture, music, sports, entertainment, shopping and a variety of cuisine to thousands of locals and visitors each year.  It is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts offering year round sunshine. And it's only two hours from Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Bear Mountain Ski Resorts.
