Internal Medicine Program Director Needed in Beautiful Bradenton, Florida!
Envision Physician Services in partnership with HCA West Florida is seeking an Internal Medicine Program Director to lead Blake Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency Program located in Bradenton, FL. The Internal Medicine Program received initial accreditation by the ACGME in January of 2016, and we proudly accepted our first class of residents in July 2016. In August of 2019, all 15 residents in our first graduating class passed the ABIM exam and are now board certified in Internal Medicine. We are very proud of this accomplishment and look forward to maintaining 100% board pass rate for many years to come!
Qualified Candidates:
- Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Have previous leadership / administrative experience
- Be willing to combine Administrative and Clinical Responsibilities (50/50)
- Have strong administrative and team building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have 3 years of participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME or AOA accredited internal medicine residency program and graduate medical education administrative experience prior to appointment.
Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations are highly encouraged to apply.
