Envision Physician Services and Mercy Hospital are in search of a well-qualified Medical Director with hospitalist experience. Candidates should be Board Certified in Internal Medicine with experience in leading a team. Must be MD or DO.

• 8 Physician & 4 APP Hospitalist Team
• 24 hour in house hospitalists
• 24 hour in house intensivists
• Open ICU
• Experienced team
• Primary Stroke Center
• OB services and Level II NICU
• In-patient psych with 24/7 psych intake
• Interventional cardiac catheterization facility with CT surgery backup
• Dedicated ED glide scope and US machine
• Multi-specialty services and exceptional medical staff back-up (neurosurgery, gen surgery, vascular surgery, CT surgery, neurology, hand, podiatry, plastics, ortho, ENT, GI, urology)
• EMR: Meditech, Pdoc, dragon dictation

The director’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating peer review activities, serving as the leader & manager of the hospitalists physicians and serving as the professional liaison between the hospitalist physicians and the medical staff.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine & clinically active in Hospitalist Medicine
• Have previous leadership / administrative experience
• Proven track record of implementing metrics/goals
• Have strong administrative and team building skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
