TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a hospitalist travel physician to join our special operations team in the southeast region. Our special ops role is a dedicated team of experienced hospitalists that travel to TeamHealth partner facilities throughout the southeast. Our special ops hospitalists help us out with start up programs, leadership openings, or turnover locations while improving communication and best practices with our hospital partners.

Special operations physicians are chosen specifically for their experience, flexibility and ability to provide excellent patient care in a variety of settings. We are looking for travelers to assist us with our exponential growth in the southeast region. We help clinicians obtain state licenses in Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, and other included states. Clinicians will work 120 hours per month and should be board certified in internal medicine or (in some cases) family practice with hospitalist experience/residency track.

Current ACLS certifications are required. Candidates should be comfortable with ICU management and codes and should be comfortable rounding in the ICU. Procedures are not required! We are seeking someone who is comfortable in a variety of practice settings and can easily create good relationships with nursing and administrative staff.
