A hospitalist physician is needed in Georgia for an exciting locum tenens opportunity. The work rotation will be Monday through Sunday. Weekenders and part-time staffing is welcomed, assuming all other requirements are met. Each team takes admissions every other day, provides weekend coverage, and also does inpatient consults on patients on other services. Locums will see an average of 10 to 15 patients per day and three admissions per night. The preferred procedures are central line insertions, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
