TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician, with prior leadership experience, to join our Special Operations Hospital Medicine team at multiple LifePoint locations in the states of Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia and other states as needed. This is an excellent opportunity to use leadership skills to help new programs, or fill in as interim leadership where needed. TeamHealth and LifePoint have a dedicated partnership of more than 4 years, focused on creating better experiences for hospital medicine clinicians. This is an independent contractor position. Our Special Operations team works at selected hospitalist programs, and you are guaranteed 182 hours per month. We ask that you be ABIM, AOBIM, ABFM, AOBFM certified or prepared, and residency trained. Special Ops team members are credentialed at multiple LifePoint Hospital Medicine sites and serve as clinical/leadership "top guns" for our clients. TeamHealth will obtain additional licenses and DEA's for the designated states, if needed. Candidates must be adaptive and possess excellent communication skills as well as a team-player attitude. Flexibility and the ability to travel are a must.
