With a combined service area of over 195,000, the facility is seeking to expand Hospitalist coverage. The new physician will be joining a private local group who manages the service line. There are currently four full time Hospitalists with PA support. Blocked shifts with flexible scheduling are available. Average inpatient census during the week is 24 and weekends 15. The new physician will be expected to care for 15 to 20 patients per day. Intubation, central line placement and ICU management skills are required. The specialty referral base of physicians includes Cardiology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, etc. Competitive salary, sign on bonus and relocation assistance is available.
