MedStar Health is currently recruiting for an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team at one of our hospitals in Baltimore, Maryland.  Our hospitalists provide 24/7 in-house coverage for uncomplicated as well as high-risk pregnancies and deliveries.

Along with providing excellent OB/GYN patient care, duties and responsibilities will include:

· Timely OB evaluation and triage

· Rapid response and evaluation for urgent and emergency care patients

· Surgical assistance

· Timely transfers

· Participation in clinical simulations

· Participation in performance management

· Shift requirement: 12-hour and/or 24-hour shifts

· Call requirement: 36-48 hours per week

In addition to having core competencies in OB/GYN, the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work well within a team, the ability to maintain excellent clinical documentation, an understanding of patient safety and high reliability in obstetrics.
