A wonderful locum tenens hospitalist opportunity is now available in New Mexico. The facility needs a provider to work day, night, and swing shifts based on needs. The locum tenens physician will see approximately 18 patients per day, and will respond to codes in the ICU, however is not required to do any procedures. Vent management, intubation, and C-line competencies are a plus. This facility makes use of the Epic EMR system. Candidates should be board certified, but board eligible physicians are welcome. An ACLS certification and a DEA license are required for this assignment. Weatherby will help with all credentialing paperwork. The ideal candidate will be a local physician and have an active, unrestricted NM state medical license in-hand.
