TeamHealth has an excellent full-time opportunity for a physician to join our established Hospitalist team at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. The EMR is Meditech and responsibilities including rounding, admitting and discharging. Flexible block schedule with 10 or 12 hour in-house shifts. Procedures aren’t required and the hospital provides sub-specialty support. The facility offers sub-specialty back-up with full support and the average total encounters is 8 during a 12-hour admitting shift and 16 during a 10-hour round/discharge shift. This core teaching faculty will be seven-on, seven-off clinical rounding with residents. Expectations include occasionally provide lectures to residents on Wednesday half-day didactics. Participation and attendance at resident educational activities, journal clubs, morning reports is also expected.
