Team Health is looking to hire a full time Nocturnist to join our Fire Fighter division with our Austin Hospital Medicine program for the St. David's System. Our Hospitalist Fire Fighter will work an average (calculated on a 6 month rolling average) of 120 hours per month. The physician agrees to work shifts that vary from 6 hours to 12 hours in length. Shifts can be rounding or swing/admit shifts at the discretion of the scheduler no more than 7 days in a row unless physician agrees to extra shifts 2 weekends per month (4 weekend shifts) at least a 2 shift block on a major holiday, Christmas or Thanksgiving and 1 shift on a minor holiday, July 4th or Memorial Day each year. Nocturnist shifts by mutual agreement. Physician can schedule two five day blocks off per month. More than 5 days off in a row in any given month requires Director. approval. Scheduling is at the discretion of the local leadership. The St. David's system has 6 hospitals that include St. David's Georgetown, Round Rock, North Austin, Main, Heart Hospital, and South Austin.
