Full-Time Infectious Disease Physician Opening in Norwalk, Connecticut (50 miles from New York City)

Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease Physician to join our busy team in Norwalk, Connecticut, located about 50 miles outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County.

Candidate should be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Infectious Disease and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. There will be some teaching responsibility to residents and medical students. This is an employed position with Western Connecticut Medical Group.

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 400+ physicians and 150+ advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Astride a hill with a commanding view of the Long Island Sound, Norwalk Hospital serves a varied and attractive region of Southern Connecticut.
