A leading facility in Jacksonville, Florida, has an opening for a Pediatric Infectious Disease physician to join their team.

Position Overview:
Schedule: 8a-12p in clinic (Monday-Thursday), 1p-5p in hospital (Monday-Friday)
Call Rotation: 1:2 or 1:3
Patient Census: 10-12 per day
Support Staff: APP
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Qualifications
Possession of an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases.
Expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing complex medical conditions with a focus on evidence-based practices.
Proficiency in interpreting advanced diagnostic tests and utilizing sophisticated treatment modalities effectively.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through participation in continuing medical education and research initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills essential for enhancing patient care outcomes.
A proven track record of contributing to quality improvement projects and institutional protocol development.
Be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine and possess Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Infectious Diseases
Possess valid State of Florida licensure and have or be eligible to obtain DEA and state narcotic registration
Be willing and able to deliver high quality patient care in an efficient manner
Be willing and able to provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population with complex needs in a collaborative environment.
Have a track record of proven success communicating effectively with patients, peers, and other stakeholders both orally and in writing.
Have demonstrated ability to maintain timely, thorough and accurate written clinical documentation
Be able to make evidence-based clinical decisions and comply with department and organizational quality measures
Be comfortable using electronic health record and other computer systems
Possess a resourceful, problem-solving attitude and an appropriate level of accountability
Be willing to perform other duties as assigned
Candidates with 3+ years’ experience working in an ambulatory setting or providing urgent care are strongly preferred. Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English are preferred.
