Our current team of ID physicians see both inpatients and outpatients with a variety of medical conditions including HIV, tick-borne diseases, cancer-related complications, and occasional tropical and travel-related diseases. While the practice is based out of a community hospital, we offer modern therapies such as fecal microbial transplantation, wound care, HCV treatment and HIV care supported by a local HIV support organization with Ryan White funding. Our oncology service is tightly affiliated with the MGH Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson. We are also proud that we were one of the first hospitals in the country to use UV light to try to combat hospital-associated infections. Our ICU is staffed by intensivists, with a significantly lower mortality than the national average.
Our Infection Prevention (IP) Department has been a strong, vital and successful department, using data and innovation to continually improve the quality of patient care.
