Centerpoint Medical Center is recruiting an Infectious Disease physician to join the team of Midwest Infectious Disease Specialists located just 20 miles east of downtown Kansas City. The opportunity is well positioned for future growth as the group looks to expand their practice in support of the newly completed hospital ICU and inpatient expansion project. Opportunity Highlights:
• Play vital role in inpatient and outpatient consultative services in Infectious Disease including antibiotic resistant organisms, hospital acquired infections, HIV, outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy, among others
• Ability to participate in Infection Control subcommittees
• Call schedule is 1:3 with limited consult activity in the evening
• Excellent compensation and benefits provided including sign on bonus, relocation, 401K with matching, CME, vacation, among many others!

In operation for the past 10 years, the existing group consists of two Infectious Disease specialists with advanced practice provider support for inpatient rounding. The incoming candidate must be motivated and ready to hit the ground running. The incoming physician will have the opportunity to build an extremely successful practice and be an essential part of the medical community for years to come!
