Job Description

Nuvance Health is seeking a Primary Care Physician for Primary Care of Darien in Darien, CT. It is a well-established practice with opportunity for growth and about 40 miles from NYC. At this busy established practice you will work closely with 4 physician colleagues in a brand new office, family friendly collegial work environment only 10 minutes from Norwalk Hospital and a wide array of subspecialty/ancillary services such as Radiology and Lab. There are additional opportunities for medical student teaching and faculty position with our affiliation with the University of Vermont. Additional opportunities in geriatric care in the area of Skilled Nursing facilities if interested. Leadership opportunity could be available for the right experienced Physician candidate. Competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive pay, paid time off, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k match and contribution. Hiring bonus and relocation stipend may also be available.

Job Summary:

Our Primary Care medical practice is looking for a compassionate Family Practice or Internal Medicine/Pediatric physician to provide comprehensive care in a team-based environment to our population of patients. This includes not only caring for acute and chronic conditions, but working with multidisciplinary support staff to promote the health and well-being of our entire panel of covered lives. This as a full-time, office-based position providing out-patient services only, utilizing a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record fully integrated across all our hospitals and sites.

Job Requirements:

  • MD or DO with CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration
  • Have successfully completed a Family Medicine Residency or an Internal Medicine AND Pediatric Residency or Internal Medicine Residency
  • Must be Board Certified or be Board Eligible
  • Off-hour coverage – Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage
  • Full time weekday 8 hour schedules between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday – Friday
