Nuvance Health, formerly Western Connecticut Health, is seeking a Primary Care Physician for our Wilton Primary and Specialty Care practice in Wilton, Connecticut. Work with 5 experienced physicians and 1 APRN in a busy established practice in a family friendly location with close proximity to NYC.  

Nestled in the heart of Fairfield County, with consistently top ranked schools and an abundance of history and nature, Wilton is an ideal and safe community to raise your family, or start or relocate your business. Wilton offers diverse housing options, many outdoor activities, and plenty of restaurants, retail and theater options to meet your needs. With easy access to the Merritt Parkway and RT 95 and with two train stations with free parking, Wilton is commutable to the area's major employment centers.  Alternatively, Wilton is home to many national and regional businesses allowing residents to live and work in one place.

This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive pay, paid time off, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k match and contribution. Hiring bonus and relocation stipend may also be available.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate primary care physician who will provide comprehensive care in a team-based environment to our population of patients. This includes not only caring for acute and chronic conditions, but working with multidisciplinary support staff to promote the health and well-being of our entire panel of covered lives. This as a full-time, office-based position providing out-patient services only, utilizing a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record fully integrated across all our hospitals and sites.

 

Job Requirements:

  • MD or DO with CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration
  • Have successfully completed a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency required. Completion of a Geriatrics Fellowship is a plus.
  • Must be Board Certified or be Board Eligible
  • Off-hour coverage – Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage
  • Full time weekday 8 hour schedules between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday – Friday
