This is an opportunity to be employed by Ephraim McDowell Health Resources (EMHR), affiliation  with Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center , a comprehensive 222-bed acute care medical center located in Danville, Kentucky- a town of approximately 28,000 people located in the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky, that is home to Centre College and is about 35 minutes from Lexington.  EMRMC is a Level 3 trauma center that sees 30,000 ED visits annually.  The hospital has over 100 physicians on staff representing 38 different specialties.  EMRMC has a robust Hospitalist group that covers inpatient coverage for those physicians who want to focus on 100% outpatient medicine. 

Currently, EMH has an opportunity for a full time Internal Medicine physician.  The population of the primary service area for the hospital is 120,000. Also in the health system are additional primary and specialty clinics throughout a six-county service area.

The physician can expect to work a four to five day week in an out-patient setting.

The physician can expect to build a busy practice quickly and see up to 25 plus patient visits per day.  EMRMC administration is very supportive of this recruitment effort and the development in the family practice clinic in our service area.

Compensation and Benefits :

This is a three year employed agreement with Ephraim McDowell Health Resources:

• Year One: Guaranteed Salary based on local market conditions. 
• Year Two and  Year Three: Base Salary plus productivity
• There is no cap to potential income
