Responsibilities
A medical center in Queens, New York, has an opening for an Internal Medicine Physician to join its Ambulatory Care team.
Deliver exceptional patient care in a patient-centered environment, and earn quality benefits.
About the Opening:
Schedule: 2 clinic sessions per day, 8a-5p, Monday-Friday
Call: 2-week offsite blocks, semiannually
Will supervise 2-4 residents per clinic session
Will participate in resident noon conference, which includes delivering lectures
Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered New York physician state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as Internal Medicine Physician
One year of Epic experience
Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
