At Lehigh Valley Health Network, you have the opportunity to make an important impact on the lives of your patients! We are seeking enthusiastic BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician who has great clinical and interpersonal skills to join our premier team in beautiful Allentown, PA.**

Practice Overview:

• The practice includes 11 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner.
• All physicians have teaching positions at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine and are actively involved in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Internal Medicine residency program to teach and prepare future physicians.
• The selected physician is expected to participate in several practice styles, but the extent of each is left to the preference of the physician.
• Opportunities include seeing ambulatory patients, seeing ambulatory patients while precepting learners (resident and students) and leading teaching rounds on the hospital inpatient medicine service.
• There may also be some exposure available to precept residents in the resident ambulatory clinic on occasion.
• The position will include some participation in weekend coverage of the inpatient teaching service.

Job Qualifications:**

• Ideal candidate will have both inpatient and outpatient clinical experience
• Experience educating residents and students is not required, but is preferred
• Strong interest to interact with learners and develop teaching skills over time is important
• Exceptional patient communication skills
• Dedication to the complete and timely care of patients is a cornerstone feature
• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
• A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
