Nephrologist  Opening

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists, a prominent, established and well-respected oncology/hematology group, is seeking a BE or BC nephrologist to join a growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation.  The practice is in the process of building a brand-new state of the art facility dedicated to delivering comprehensive kidney care.  The practice currently manages freestanding outpatient cancer centers with extensive chemotherapy administration, radiation oncology, pharmacy and research.

We are located throughout the New York Metro area with many locations on Long Island as well as New Jersey. 

Principle responsibilities

• Provide consultation to clinically diverse populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. 
• Evaluate and diagnose patients to determine the extent and nature of kidney ailments.
• Perform dialysis, surgery, prescribe post-surgical maintenance medication, administer anti-rejection treatment, and preclude rejection in kidney transplants.
• Keep abreast of new developments in kidney surgical techniques and medication. 

• Program development to further Nephrological care throughout the organization. 

   

  The ideal candidate will be board certified/board eligible and have excellent clinical training. Physicians who are currently in fellowship training are encouraged to apply.
