Physician - Neurological Surgery


Job Description

Swedish Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neurology-Epileptologist to join the team at the Seattle NeuroScience Center. The group is looking for a provider experienced in the workup and management of people with refractory epilepsy. Join a dedicated team of specialists committed to providing high-quality care in a level IV NAEC accredited epilepsy center.

Position Details:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday schedule
  • Medical and surgical epilepsy workup
  • EEG, LTM and rapid EEG reading
  • Working as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Call expected to be 1:7 weekends

Core Competencies:

  • Surgical candidacy
  • Chronic epilepsy medical management
  • VEEG monitoring
  • Adult and pediatric EEG interpretation
  • Brain Mapping
  • Neurostimulator candidate evaluation and device management

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation is between $318,823 and $406,440 per year
  • Comprehensive benefits package

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must be a board-certified/board-eligible Neurosurgeon
  • Candidates with at least 1 to 5 years' experience post-residency are highly preferred
