This is an opportunity to be employed by Ephraim McDowell Health Resources, an affiliation of Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center (EMRMC), a comprehensive 222-bed acute care medical center located in Danville, Kentucky- a town of approximately 28,000 people located in the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky, that is home to Centre College and is about 30 minutes from Lexington.  EMRMC is a Level 3 trauma center that sees 30,000 ED visits annually.  The hospital has over 100 physicians on staff representing 38 different specialties.  EMRMC has a robust Hospitalist group that covers inpatient coverage.

Currently, EMRMC has one full time neurologists and two neurology specialized mid-level on staff. 

The hospital is set-up for the joining Neurologist to perform all procedures including EMG’s and EEG’s.  EMRMC has a six bed sleep center located a couple of miles from the hospital.  Call; 1:4.

The neurologist can expect to work a four to five day week in an out-patient setting.

The Neurologist can expect to build a busy practice quickly and see greater than 15 patient visits per day.  EMRMC administration is very supportive of this recruitment effort and the development in the neurology service program at EMRMC.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a three year employed agreement with Ephraim McDowell Medical Center:

• Year One: Guaranteed Salary based on local market conditions. 
• Year Two and Year Three: Base Salary plus productivity
• There is no cap to potential income
