Fairview Health Services is seeking a Neurologist to join a multispecialty practice at Fairview Clinics – Fridley in Fridley, MN, to include services also at nearby Fairview Clinics in Blaine and Brooklyn Park.
The scope of care provided will range from preventive care to acute and chronic illness. Approximately 1/3 of patients are 50+ years old. The practice is primarily focused on adult neurological conditions but pediatric care would be a plus. Providers are encouraged to utilize their skills and special interests. This opportunity could include performing EMG's in the clinic. Interventional procedures would be supported, should you choose to include this in your practice.
Join our multispecialty practice, with a demonstrated need from an established referral base of Fairview employed primary care and subspecialty physicians. The Neurologist works collaboratively with a large network of both primary care and specialty physicians throughout the Fairview Medical Group practice, including partners at the University of Minnesota, which includes many subspecialists through an extensive outreach programs. These specialties include: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, Family Practice, Orthopedics, Allergy, General Surgery, Sports Medicine, Urology, Radiology, ENT, Dermatology, Podiatry, Hematology/Oncology, and Ophthalmology.
Practice Details:
- Provide outpatient care at Fairview Clinics - Fridley with additional time at nearby Fairview Clinics - Blaine and Brooklyn Park, MN.
- Onsite ancillary services include: pharmacy, lab, X-ray, CT and MRI, mammography, ultrasound, and bone densitometry.
- We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
- Physicians work a 4-5 day clinical work-week with expectation of 36 patient contact hours per week.
- Patients are admitted to the hospitalist service at University of Minnesota Medical Center.

Position Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency training program and Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association. Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure. Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota. Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
