Spine and Pain Physician

Providence St. Patrick Hospital

Physician - Neurology

Job Description

Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible, fellowship-trained Interventional Pain physician to join the dedicated and compassionate team of providers at Montana Spine and Pain Center in Missoula, Montana. An ideal candidate will possess an excellent diagnostic understanding of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems, be convinced of the clinical importance of pain education to good patient outcomes and exhibit an openness to evidence-based integrative and regenerative medicine. The group is looking to add a partner with excellent technical proficiency in a full range of interventional techniques and someone who will prioritize long-term best interest of patients.

The Montana Spine and Pain Center is a multidisciplinary specialty clinic that places strong emphasis on rehabilitative, patient-centered and trauma-informed care. Their osteopathic philosophy helps providers treat the whole person and not just the painful body part. This practice understands both the overlap and clinical distinction between spine rehabilitation and persistent pain, and that treatment is most therapeutic when appropriately integrated into the patient's story.

Enjoy outstanding quality of life in the beautiful and welcoming community of Missoula, a city where urban delights and outdoor recreation collide. With all the cultural benefits and diversity of a college town, but without the traffic, congestion and crime of an urban center, Missoula is nestled halfway between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks in some of the most beautiful outdoor recreation in the country.

  • Compensation and benefits package, including relocation assistance and a signing bonus
  • 1 to 3 years of experience is preferred
  • Preference will be given to osteopathic physiatrists with accredited pain fellowship
  • Team of 2 fellowship-trained, rehab-based interventional physicians, 3 physician assistants, a pain psychologist and clinical pharmacist, co-located with neurosurgery
