The Hospital:
Mission Hospital, located in Asheville, is Mission Health’s flagship hospital and is licensed for 815 beds. The inpatient neurology program is comprised of a 14-bed neuro-trauma ICU and a 36-bed, dedicated Neuroscience unit and Stroke Center. Mission is certified by The Joint Commission as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Our team is made up of neuro hospitalists and neurovascular hospitalists, technicians, nurse practitioners and hospital nurses.
