Job Description

The Providence Brain & Spine Institute is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Epileptologist for its NAEC accredited Level 4 Epilepsy center. This position joins an established team of four Epileptologists, nurse practitioner, functional neurosurgeon with epilepsy surgery expertise, two neuropsychologists and one dedicated psychologist delivering comprehensive care to adults with epilepsy. The provider will be based at Providence Portland Medical Center and Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. The Epilepsy program is a regional Center of Excellence operating a five bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit; EEG service offering outpatient, ICU, and intracranial EEG monitoring (including SEEG); outpatient clinical practice including a First Seizure and New Onset Epilepsy Clinic; and clinical research. Teaching opportunities are also available. Portland is a growing city with a vibrant culture and the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, Pacific coast, and the high desert nearby.
