The Texas Stroke Institute is a collaborative initiative that includes the network of DFW Medical City Healthcare hospitals. Our goal is to develop an effective and resource-efficient plan to reduce the morbidity, mortality and economic burden of stroke in the region. Incorporating medical education and participating in research will establish us as a National Center of Excellence in Stroke. 

Texas Stroke Institute Neuro-Interventionalists will be exposed to: 

•Cerebral & Spinal Angiography 
•IV & IA Stroke Thrombolysis 
•Mechanical Thrombectomy 
•Carotid & Intracranial Stenting 
•Aneurysm & AVM Embolization 
•Brain/Spine Tumor Embolization 
•Other procedures of head/neck/spine
