Gynecologic Oncologist

The department

The Gynecologic Oncology division at The University of Kansas Health System is comprised of three gynecologic oncologists with additional outpatient and inpatient advanced practitioners, and a recently accredited gynecologic oncology fellowship.

The position

  • Provide direct patient care
  • Write referral letters and documentation for patient records
  • Patient-care duties will involve training of medical students, residents and fellows.
  • Provide lectures to faculty, fellows, residents and students.
  • Initiate and participate in research studies and quality improvement programs
  • Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of the institution.

Qualifications

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certified or active candidate in OB-GYN and Gynecologic Oncology
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Kansas and Missouri
  • Experience in minimally invasive surgery highly desired
