OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening

San Diego is family friendly, with a diverse geography delivering a multitude of housing options and top rated school districts.

• Join a 600+ provider practice with large OBGYN department of 24 providers  
• SRSMG is adding to our dedicated OBGYN hospitalist team!
• 3 shifts p/week (full-time); shifts hours: 7:00pm to 7:00am
• Back up physicians are always available
• No rounding required
• Full specialty back up including 24 hour perinatal and GYN/ONC service with dedicated OB anesthesia
• On-site overnight room for provider

Requirements:

• • Comfortable covering a busy L&D with at least 3 years’ experience, 5 preferred
  • Must be able to obtain privileges for basic laparoscopy including management of ectopic pregnancies
    • Must have completed 10 cases in the last 2 years to qualify
  • Board Certification is required

• Opportunity to work a half day in clinic per week in order to maintain gyn skills
• Hospital delivers ~9,000 babies per year, highest volume in the state of California
  • Group delivers ~4,000 babies per year
  • Southern California’s largest Level III NICU, plus advanced care for women experiencing high-risk pregnancy
