TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician to join our OB/Gyn Hospitalist team at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. This opportunity includes supporting a Federally Qualified Clinic and a Family Medicine Residency clinic. We ask that you be a Board Certified in OB/Gyn, able to demonstrate clinical excellence with superior communication skills, and a focus on providing quality care placing the patient above all other considerations. Additional qualifications also include active and current skills in the full breadth of the OB/Gyn specialty, and a current New Jersey license to practice. This position entails 20 to 40 hours per week of clinic coverage over 3 - 5 weekdays providing prenatal and postpartum care, as well as Gyn services. The opportunity is available to also cover some 24-hour in-house OB/Gyn Hospitalist shifts on a PRN basis to perform deliveries and Emergency Gyn services as needed. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with and supporting Certified Nurse Midwifes and Family Medicine Residents.
