Responsibilities
Partnered with a hospital in coastal central California with an opening for a skilled OB/GYN to assist their team with locum coverage.
About the Opening:
Schedule: 1-2 clinic days per week
Call: 24-hour in-house hospital call required (8a-8a), 1:6 rotation
Setting: Outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital call
Level III NICU
Patient Volume: 15-20 per day in clinic, 45-55 inpatient deliveries per month
Laborist role
Required Procedures: Vaginal deliveries, c-sections, sterilizations, laparoscopic tubals, birth control
Clinic Support Staff: Ultrasonographer and RN
Hospital Support Staff: Ultrasonographer, CNMs, and 24/7 anesthesia team
Bilingual skills preferred, but not required
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified

Qualifications
Must have a valid California medical license and board certification in OB/GYN.
Enjoys a locum tenens role with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.
Comfortable managing both routine and urgent procedures with confidence.
Brings excellent technical skills balanced by a warm, approachable manner.
Ready to handle in-house call responsibilities and thrive in a dynamic setting.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills are a must.
