TeamHealth has an opportunity for an OB/Gyn physician (MD or DO) to lead our OB/Gyn hospitalist team at AdventHealth Tampa in beautiful Tampa, Florida. This schedule allows for 12- and 24-hour, in-house shifts! The model consists of 2 clinicians in-house 24/7 with 1 MD for 24 hours and a second clinician; MD for 12 hours/CNM 12 hours. Ideal candidates are board certified with ability to demonstrate clinical excellence along with superior communication skills and a focus on providing quality care and patient satisfaction. Qualifications also include active and current skills in the full breadth of the OB/Gyn specialty and a current or in-process Florida license to practice. Other requirements include a willingness to drive patient safety and quality initiatives, insurability for professional liability insurance, and a successful track record. Candidates must be comfortable working with and supporting Certified Nurse Midwifes.
