Rapides Regional Medical Center is actively recruiting an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join the Women’s Hospital team. Board Certified with a minimum of 2-3 years experience are preferred. Full time, part-time and PRN roles are available.

Opportunity Highlights:
• Employed as a full-time Hospitalist to cover between 12 to 15 shifts per month including weekdays and weekends
• Shifts are 12-hours
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing unassigned and walk-in patients including deliveries; rounding on inpatients for office-based physicians; providing call coverage for office-based physicians, starting deliveries or assisting office-based OB/GYNs in C-sections and other surgeries.

Women's & Children's service includes:
• Labor & Delivery--10 labor/delivery/recover suites, 5 onsite surgical suites and 26 bed postpartum unit
• Newborn-- 29 bed well baby nursery, 32 bed Level III NICU; 32 bed newborn intensive care unit
• Pediatrics--19 bed pediatric unit and 6 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit staffed by Pediatric Intensivists
• Basic terms of employment include a flat rate per shift plus malpractice
