MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, a member of MedStar Health, is a community hospital licensed for 350 beds. The hospital opened its new patient tower with all private rooms in November of 2011, and is located in Northeastern Baltimore County of Maryland with a broad community as it service area. Our obstetrical service of approximately annual 3000 discharges is housed in a high amenity 2-story Women’s Pavilion, and is supported by an AIUM accredited Prenatal Diagnostic Center and a brand-new state-of-the-art 23 bed Level 3 NICU, including 19 rooms with accommodations for multiples.
MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is seeking a full-time BC/BE Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join a busy established practice with three existing OB/GYNs. The practice is hospital-employed with an established patient base and offers diverse obstetric and gynecologic pathology. The position provides ample opportunities for GYN surgery including minimally-invasive and Davinci robot capabilities. Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are available through MedStar Health’s Research Institute. Call is typically 1:5.
