Myrtle Hilliard Davis Comprehensive Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a full-time Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) provides for the prenatal, intra-partum, and postpartum care of health center patients.

 Duties:

• Provides appropriate care for the family planning and gynecological needs of the health center patients
• Provides appropriate hospital care related to the specific gynecological, surgical needs of health center patients
• Provides for after hours coverage for urgent health care problems for health center patients on a rotational on-call basis as appropriate
• Participates in the health center's Performance Improvement program
• Assists in the formulation and implementation of the health center's health care plan
• Practices Evidence Base Medicine
• Uses electronic health record (EHR) for documentation
• Completes and signs encounter note(s) within 24-48 hours
• Orders Lab test(s) in the electronic health record
• Reviews and signs/dates lab tests results daily both in EHR and printed results, when indicated
• Reviews and signs/dates radiology reports daily
• Follows recall policy for abnormal tests
• Uses electronic health record for prescribing medication via e-prescribe and to document patient's medications

Qualifications:

• Education:  Board Certification as an Ob/Gyn Physician licensed to practice in the State of Missouri required
• Other:  Must have reliable transportation.
