In Austin, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Director of Reproductive Health to oversee the programs and operations of our Center for Women’s Health.
Job Overview:
- Provide medical care to patients in a manner that supports our values, meets our standards of care, and is efficient in the use of resources
- Work with the CMO and COO to set productivity and quality assurance/improvement goals for the department and develop realistic plans to achieve those goals
- Represent the department’s interests to other members of the medical management team, other clinic departments and the hospital call group
- Create a positive and supportive environment within the team and across the department
- Ensure provider availability for clinic care and adequate back up for APNs and Pas
- Supervise APNs/Pas in the department, including chart reviews, annual evaluations and plans for continuing education

Qualifications:
- Current license to practice medicine in the State of Texas
- 5 years post-graduate training experience required
- Commitment to working with vulnerable populations
- Drug Enforcement Agency certification
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records Knowledge, Skills
- Thorough knowledge of current theory and practice of medicine for adult patients
- Strong team player with proven leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with persons of varying ages, cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds
Spanish preferred but not required!
