In Greenville, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time OBGYN Physician to diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases of women, especially those affecting the reproductive system and the process of childbirth
Job Overview:
- Acts as primary consultant on all OB/GYN cases referred by other staff providers
- From time to time, provides in-service training for staff in selected topics in OB/GYN medicine as deemed necessary by the CMO
- Completes medical charts after each visit according to the problem-oriented medical records system
- Assists in internal quality control audits
- Provides quality medical care according to the appropriate standards on quality assurance
- Provide supervision in case assignment to physician assistant or nurse practitioner, including sign off on charts
- Supervises medical assistants and lab personnel in area of specific support services for patient care delivery
- Will be available to participate in providing continuity of care including hospital in-patient management
- Attends internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences, and participates on task forces or committees, as necessary
- Performs all duties and services in full compliance of center’s policies and protocols
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the CMO

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
- Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas
- Board eligibility in OB/GYN practice is required; board certification is desirable
- 5 years of post-graduate training experience preferred
- Have a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of medicine and allied services commensurate with his/her training
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultures and diverse socioeconomic situations
Bilingual (English & Spanish) Preferred
